Description

Our client, a global technology firm, is looking for a Sales Engineer to be an integral part of their Dallas, TX Sales team, design solutions for clients, and be an evangelist for their growing portfolio of products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with multinational enterprises to understand their technical and business needs
  • Build relationships with and influence technical and business decision makers in prospect organizations becoming a trusted technical advisor
  • Develop and sell solutions that solve client business issues and bridge the gap between business and IT
  • Create appropriate solution value propositions, directly connecting offerings to identified business needs and goals
  • Prepare presentations, RFP responses, POCs, proposals, and all necessary technical sales materials and documentation in coordination with the Sales team
  • Participate in account planning and opportunity planning to provide key input from a technical and product perspective (both customer-focused and industry/market-focused)
  • Conduct regular knowledge sharing with peers; sharing best practices, industry insights and technology updates
  • Act as an advocate both internally and externally for the company’s current product offerings and future roadmap

REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree
  • At least 5 years’ experience in pre-sales engineering
  • Professional certification and accreditation in relevant industry technologies and suppliers (ie: Cisco, Riverbed, VMWare, etc.) is beneficial
  • A detailed working knowledge of technologies including SD-WAN, MPLS, Cloud, Managed Security, and Collaboration
  • Experience designing solutions for multinational corporations
