We are looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist for the San Francisco office of our client, a global technology company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and deliver marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of the Tech and Media segment of the company’s business including communications, events, and marketing programs and initiatives in support of brand strategy and lead generation.
  • Create targeted, strategic messaging to improve brand awareness
  • Ensure creatives are on-brand across all customer-facing elements of campaigns including; media, advertising, customer education materials, collateral and support materials.
  • Enforce brand marketing guidelines to create a cohesive, consistent image for each project.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and intervene as required.
  • Assist with or prepare briefs for creative design undertaken by outside marketing agencies and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Be the go-to resource for up-to-date, accurate research and market information including market trends, competitor offerings, and demographic data.
  • Present market research to sales and marketing teams to support their sales strategy and planning.
  • Identify the appropriate media outlets to reach the target audience with marketing materials for each product or service.
  • Provide expert direction and insight to marketing staff members throughout each project or campaign.
  • Track results closely and create detailed reports with data analysis and feedback.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in a field marketing & lead generation management role
  • Background working within global/cross-functional teams within an agile environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including public speaking and interpersonal communication
  • Knowledge of and interest in B2B technology marketing
  • Strong background in events management
  • The ability to establish, build, and foster relationships with staff, suppliers and customers both local and global
  • Knowledge of media outlets and multimedia marketing strategies
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications – Word, Outlook, Excel etc.
  • Experience with CRM (salesforce.com) and marketing automation software (Marketo and Eloqua)
  • Proficient with HTML/CSS and email marketing / marketing automation and Social Media platforms
