Sales Engineer

The developer of a software platform that enables large enterprises/service providers to easily manage collaboration and unified communications infrastructures including Skype for Business, Cisco, Avaya, Slack and more, is looking for a Sales Engineer to join their New York City-based team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the Technical SME on the company’s solution and the voice infrastructures it manages within the sales process
  • Respond to RFPs and RFIs and create proof of concept, proposals, and other documentation that address and validate how the company’s solution will integrate with the client’s current infrastructure
  • Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and design workshops to client stakeholders
  • Work in cooperation with other vendors to integrate respective products
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and other events to support sales efforts with your technical expertise
  • Provide customer feedback on the product, features, and needs to the Product Management tea

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years’ experience engineering client solutions at a software vendor, system integrator or Unified Communications vendor
  • Experience in a customer-facing role with excellent presentation and communications skills
  • A strong understanding of enterprise and hosted voice solutions
  • Expertise in one or more unified communications technology – ie: Microsoft Skype for Business/Teams, Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM), or Avaya – and a desire to learn more
  • Relevant certifications a plus
