Administrative Assistant
A financial services firm in Morristown, NJ is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support their management team. This is a full time, permanent role with benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to the management team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and completing expense reports
- Answer and direct phone calls in an efficient, professional manner
- Greet visitors and connect them with the appropriate person
- Type, proofread, edit, and format documents
- Assist with personal tasks for executives, including running errands and making appointments
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Take meeting minutes and distribute them to stakeholders
- Assist with event planning and coordination, both internal and external including booking venues, arranging catering, and managing RSVPs
- Exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working as an administrative assistant corporate office environment
Excellent communication skills both oral and written - Experience supporting management teams and managing multiple calendars
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience making travel arrangements including flights, hotels, and car rentals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management skills - Event planning experience a plus
