Bilingual English/Japanese Network Engineer

Our client, an IT Managed Services Provider, is looking for a bilingual English/Japanese Network Engineer to join their team. The Network Engineer is responsible for providing support to enterprise-level customers around the country.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enterprise Network Administration Support – Routing, Switching, Load Balancers, WAN Accelerators, Firewall, Content Management.
• Proficient on Network Monitoring Tools/Support such as Nagios, Cacti, Solarwinds, PRTG, RANCID, syslog.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications.
• Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design, maintain, and install internal and external networks.
• Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate/identify issues and make improvements.
• Hardware Support on all network devices.
• Process and Procedural Documentation
• The ability to independently manage tasks, projects and deadlines, without reliance on management for day-to-day guidance on priorities.
• The ability to work as a team with internal and external personnel on projects, maintenance, and break fixes.
• Daily operational support

REQUIREMENTS

• CCNA or CCNP
• A degree in Computer Science, Networking, or other closely related field or equivalent experience
• Business level Japanese
• Excellent communications skills, English and Japanese, both oral and written.
