Senior Account Executive
A developer and marketer of software designed to integrate web and desktop applications to simplify workflows and improve productivity is looking for a Senior Account Executive. They operate in a competitive marketplace and are making significant headway within the Financial Services vertical across banks, hedge funds, investment firms and sports betting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acquire new logos
- Build, manage and extend opportunity pipeline through collaboration with marketing, partner management and business-development functions
- Retain ownership of signed clients to help upsell/cross-sell products
- Present product capabilities, use-cases, benefits and pricing
- Qualify opportunities at use-case & commercial levels
- Operate in a ‘sales-challenger’ style; create constructive tension throughout sales cycle and inform/educate prospects about product benefits
- Use cross-functional resources to accelerate opportunity progression and maximize deal size (Presales, Marketing, etc.)
- Regularly update CRM and internal reporting
REQUIREMENTS
- 5-years+ of selling enterprise software applications (or solutions) into Financial Services
- College/university degree
- Conceptual awareness of integration and automation technologies
- Familiarity with typical banking / hedge-fund business processes including roles of key personnel, business challenges, and commonly used enterprise applications
- Experience selling middleware, ESB, RPA, BPM software products a plus
- Ability to leverage existing network of contacts to help promote company and product and identify new sales opportunities
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment
